Waiting for global reach

The roots of the current USAF Air Mobility Command can be traced back to 1941. AMC’s mission is to provide air mobility: Right Effects, Right Place, Right Time. For this, the command operates the C-17 Globemaster III, C-5 Galaxy, C-130 Hercules, KC-10 Extender, KC-135 Stratotanker, KC-46 Pegasus and various other aircraft types.
