Antonov 24 propeller – cut

Ukrainian aircraft manufacturer Antonov is known for several iconic aircraft designs. One of these was the Antonov 24 passenger/transport aircraft. Well over 1,000 aircraft of this type have been built and widely used around the world. This is a propeller of an Antonov 24 that was prepared for display purposes.

Proper propeller piece

The propeller was cut in half to preserve space and create an attractive piece. The original colour was preserved, but all unpainted areas were polished. A custom made stand was added and the cutting area was polished as well. This results in an interesting item that can serve as an “attention seeker” in many settings.
