Rolls-Royce Conway compressor casing table – pearl blasted

A side table made of the casing of the low-pressure turbine of a Rolls-Royce Conway 508 gas turbine engine. The casing has been thoroughly cleaned and pearl blasted. The stator vanes of one of the compressor stages have been added again, still clearly showing their individual identification numbers. A hardened glass plate has been custom-made to fit the casing.

Circular semicircle

This perfect example of upcycling, an almost circular economy, originates from the Boeing 707 that has been posing as D-ABOC at Berlin-Tegel for a number of years. Shaped as a semicircle the table can either be positioned against the wall or in the middle of any room.
